Our Team

Steve is originally from Hull, IA where he and his wife raised their two daughters, but now resides in Sioux Center, IA with his wife and dog. Steve received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his Master of Physical Therapy degree from St. Ambrose University. Steve is an owner of ProActive Physical Therapy since opening their doors in 2007. He is also a certified Athletic Trainer. Outside of work, Steve enjoys golfing, watching sports, spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, traveling, and cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones.

Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

“I started my career in Athletic Training, and saw Physical Therapy as a way to continue to help not only athletes, but all age groups and diagnoses. I enjoy helping people reach their goals and return to an active lifestyle with less pain and improved function. I enjoy the opportunity to develop relationships with people- from doctors, coaches, student athletes, and parents to the patients I get to work with every day.”
