Dana originally grew up outside of the Sioux City area and currently lives on an acreage east of Granville with her husband, 3 (soon to be 4) children & their dog. She attended Northwestern College where she received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Briar Cliff University.
Outside of work, Dana enjoys spending time outdoors, going for walks, being with her family, reading, baking, and watching sports.
Why I Became a PT:
“I became a physical therapist because I enjoy sharing and continuing to learn how powerful and healing movement is. I participated in sports from a young age and continued throughout college, so being a PT is a way that I can stay involved with athletics. Also, as a mom to three young children, I have learned just how important it is to continue to stay mobile and strong so that I can keep up with them! Pelvic health and women’s health have become a great passion of mine. I really enjoy developing relationships with patients, and watching them grow and heal throughout their physical therapy journeys.”
Certifications:
- Level 1 Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation
Specialties:
- Pelvic health physical therapy
